Prominent Sierra Leonean businessman Mohamed Gento Kamara and his wife, Tuma Jabbie, have reportedly been living separately since November 2024, according to information from sources familiar with the matter.
Reports suggest that in November 2024, Jabbie sought assistance from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) after allegedly being denied access to Gento’s residence.
Police officers reportedly accompanied her to the property, where Gento is said to have informed authorities that the couple was no longer living together and that their relationship had effectively ended.
Sources further indicate that Gento was subsequently invited to provide a statement at CID headquarters. During the process, he was reportedly represented by the legal firm Yada Williams & Associates.
No criminal charges have been publicly announced in connection with the matter.
Individuals familiar with the situation claim that both parties have since established separate residences and have continued to live apart.
The reported separation has fueled public speculation about the status of their marriage, particularly on social media platforms where discussions surrounding the couple have intensified in recent months.
Recent reports indicate that Gento was in Saudi Arabia undertaking the Muslim pilgrimage, while Jabbie was in England attending social engagements, further highlighting their separate lifestyles.
According to sources, when questioned about ongoing public commentary regarding their relationship, Gento reportedly maintained that the couple has been separated since November 2024 and are no longer together.
Neither Gento nor Jabbie has publicly issued a detailed statement addressing the reported separation. As a result, the circumstances surrounding their relationship remain based on accounts from sources and have not been independently confirmed by the parties involved.
