Chief Minister, Dr. Moinina David Sengeh has confirmed that the State House Press Secretary, Solomon Jamiru has resigned from his position in the government.
He said Jamiru is leaving to deepen his private legal practice.
Solomon Jamiru who was a legal practitioner before joining the government in 2018, served twice as Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, and as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
He was appointed by President Bio as his Press Secretary at State House after the June 2023 elections.
Jamiru has so far not made any public statement about his resignation.
