Bo Rangers FC have officially announced six high-profile signings, including prolific and controversial striker Musa Noah Kamara, widely known as Musa Tombo ahead of their CAF Champions League matches.
In an enthusiastic social media post, Bo Rangers stated, “We’re thrilled and super excited to announce the return of Musa Noah Kamara (Musa Tombo), the Sierra Leone goal king from Ports Authority!”
Musa Tombo brings with him an impressive Premier League background, having played for East End Lions, Bo Rangers, and Ports Authority. He has clinched the title of highest goalscorer three times, breaking records in the 2018-19, 2021-2022, and the recently concluded 2023-2024 seasons.
“Welcome back Musa! Let’s make this season another unforgettable one!” added Bo Rangers in their post.
In addition to Musa Tombo, Bo Rangers have bolstered their squad with six other signings.
George Mattar, a talented winger with extensive Premier League experience from FC Johansen, Bo Rangers, and Ports Authority, returns to the club after a stint in Sweden.
Goalkeeper Abubakarr Kamara joins from Wusum Stars Football Club, while versatile defender Lamin Conteh, known for his endurance and deep crosses, has been signed from Wilberforce Strikers.
Edmund Momoh, another versatile defender with Premier League experience from Mighty Blackpool, has been added to the roster.
The club also welcomes Michael Brima, a talented striker from Alpha Lions in Kenema, with a strong background from Kamboi Eagles FC and Kahunla Rangers.
Lastly, Idrissa Sesay, a promising young left-back from Young Doctors FC with Premier League experience from Freetonians SLIFA, rounds out the new signings.
Over the weekend, Bo Rangers returned to action at the Southern Arena after a two-week break.
The team is gearing up for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League & Confederation Cup first preliminary round match against FC San Pedro of Ivory Coast, scheduled between August 16th and 18th.
This marks Bo Rangers’ third consecutive appearance in the Champions League (2022-2023, 2023-2024, and 2024-2025), and the club is eager to make a significant impact this season.
