Sierra Leone is being represented at the ongoing West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone A Congress by the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, and Acting General Secretary, Mohamed Benson Bawoh.
The two officials are part of regional football leaders meeting in Praia to deliberate on strategies to enhance governance, collaboration, and the growth of the game across West Africa.
On the margins of the congress, SLFA President Kamara also held discussions with FIFA’s Regional Coordinator, Silmara Sousa, who is attending as the world football body’s representative.
The engagement focused on strengthening Sierra Leone’s ties with FIFA and ensuring continued support for football development in the country.
SLFA’s participation underscores Sierra Leone’s determination to play an active role in shaping the future of football within the sub-region and beyond.
