In a somber announcement today, the All People’s Congress (APC) revealed the passing of Ambassador Dauda Sulaiman Kamara.
The news, shared by Lansana Dumbuya, the National Secretary General (NSG) of the APC, conveyed that Ambassador Kamara’s demise occurred yesterday evening, on January 31st, 2024.
Ambassador Dauda Kamara held esteemed positions within the APC and the government.
Notably, he served as Minister of Internal Affairs, Local Government, and Rural Development during the tenure of Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma. Additionally, he later assumed the role of Special Adviser to President Ernest Bai Koroma.
Prior to his domestic roles, Ambassador Kamara represented Sierra Leone as an envoy to the Federal Republic of Germany during the administration of Ahmed Tejan Kabba.
As Sierra Leone mourns the loss of this dedicated public servant, details regarding funeral arrangements are forthcoming. Sympathizers are invited to pay their respects at his residence in Juba, Freetown.
