Freetown, January 24, 2025 – The Government of Sierra Leone has reported a cumulative total of 14 confirmed Mpox cases as of today, with one new case emerging from the Tonkolili district.
Encouragingly, one patient has recovered, and no fatalities have been recorded to date.
The gender distribution of the cases includes four females and ten males, with the highest numbers reported in Tonkolili and Western Urban districts.
