In a major breakthrough, Augustine Omaska, who escaped from the Pademba Road Correctional Facility in an unlawful break on November 26th, 2022, has been successfully re-apprehended in the Kandeh section of Bo City by authorities.

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Brima Kanneh, Regional Police Commander South, hailed Omaska’s re-arrest as a significant development that immediately mitigates threats to public safety.
Emphasizing the importance of capturing high-profile escapees, Kanneh reassured the community, highlighting the significance of such actions in maintaining public safety.
