A tragic incident has been reported at One Word Garage in the Wellington axis of Freetown, where a young man identified as Ezekiel was found dead inside a vehicle on Friday, 27th February 2026.
According to reports reaching Voice of Salone Newspaper, community members disclosed that Ezekiel had been sleeping in the vehicle since Wednesday.
Unaware that anything was wrong, residents assumed he was resting as usual, as he was known to occasionally sleep inside the car, which he also drove.
The situation only came to light on Friday when a passerby reportedly noticed a strong odor coming from the parked vehicle. Alarmed by the smell, he alerted other community members, who then approached the car to investigate. Upon closer inspection, they discovered that Ezekiel had passed away inside the vehicle.
The cause of death has not yet been officially confirmed, and authorities are expected to conduct further investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The shocking discovery has left residents of the area in grief and disbelief, as many described Ezekiel as familiar and well-known within the community.
