January 17, 2025 – In a meticulously orchestrated dawn operation at Texaco Junction in Grassfield, East Freetown, the Kissy Division’s Operations Team successfully apprehended five men believed to be part of a robbery gang.
The suspects—Emmanuel Fofanah, Ishmael Sesay, Mohamed Komba, Abu Bakarr Bangura, and Mohamed Marrah—are all residents of Grassfield.
The arrests followed a series of complaints from community members regarding robberies occurring during late-night hours at the Texaco Junction.
Police recovered a sword, alleged to have been used in the robberies, which is currently being treated as exhibit.
The Kissy Police urge the public to report any suspicious or criminal activities in their neighborhoods.
The suspects and the recovered exhibit are now under investigation at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at the Kissy Police Station.
