Makeni, Sierra Leone — A devastating road accident on Easter Sunday claimed the lives of an entire family of five, including a mother and her two 9-month-old twin infants, when their jeep collided with a truck on the Makeni–Kamakwe highway.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, 2026. According to reports, the collision involved a truck transporting Afrigas stoves and a jeep carrying the family members. All five occupants of the jeep were killed instantly.
