Due to intense surveillance and raids conducted by the Operations Team of Kabala Division, a primary school Deputy Head teacher was arrested with quantities of ‘kush’ together with five others within Kabala township.
While Poreh Sesay was arrested at Bilmaia New Site with 544 wraps of ‘kush’ and Kumba Lakoh was arrested with 68 wraps of cannabis sativa, 83 wraps of ‘kush’ and a sum of four thousand one hundred sixty-six Leones (Le 4,166) as proceeds from the narcotic sales.
All suspects including the Deputy Head teacher were refused bail at the Kabala Magistrate’s Court on Monday 29th April 2024.
