Freetown, August 19, 2026 — The All Peoples Congress (APC) has officially reopened applications for members interested in contesting District Executive positions across the country.
In a public notice dated August 18, 2026 and signed by National Secretary General Lansana Dumbuya Esq., the party’s National Secretariat announced that applications are now open through both the online portal and manual submission.
The move is in line with Section 16 of the APC Party Elections Rules and Regulations, which have been gazetted by the Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC), and the APC Constitution of 2022.
Fees for Applicants
Aspiring candidates will pay the following:
– District Chairman: Le2,000 candidature fee plus Le200 for the application form.
– All other District Executive positions: Le1,000 candidature fee plus Le100 for the application form.
Eligibility
The party has urged all interested members to ensure their membership subscriptions are fully paid up and that they meet all eligibility requirements under the APC Constitution and Elections Rules and Regulations before applying. Membership records must be up to date.
How to Pay
The preferred method of payment is through the APC’s dedicated Orange Money Merchant Code 271703.
To pay candidature fees via Orange Money:

2. Enter the amount
3. Enter the candidate’s full name as reference
4. Confirm with your Orange Money PIN
For membership subscription payments:
1. Dial #144*3*151*2#
2. Enter your Membership ID (the number printed at the top right corner of your APC biometric membership card)
3. Confirm details and select the period you want to pay for (1, 3, 6 or 12 months)
4. Enter your PIN to complete the transaction
Payments made through Orange Money will be verified immediately on the party’s digital membership platform. Members can also pay through the APC’s Rokel Commercial Bank Account Number 1086762 if necessary.
The party has advised all applicants to keep evidence of every payment for verification purposes. A copy of the notice has been formally submitted to the Political Parties Regulation Commission.
