In a recent operation conducted by the Operations Team of the Waterloo Police Division, a major drug bust has led to the arrest of a 40-year-old woman identified as Kadiatu Sapateh.
The raid, carried out based on actionable intelligence, took place at McDonald Village along the Waterloo-Tombo highway.
During the operation, a substantial quantity of Cannabis Sativa was discovered in Sapateh’s possession. Additionally, law enforcement officers uncovered a meticulously processed bag of Cannabis Seeds at her hideout residence.
The seizure of these illegal substances highlights the ongoing efforts of the Waterloo Police Division to curb drug-related activities within the community.
Crime Officer of the Waterloo Police Division, Deputy Assistant Superintendent Joseph B Lansana, confirmed the arrest and the seizure of the contraband. Kadiatu Sapateh, along with the confiscated evidence, is scheduled to appear at the Magistrate’s Court located at King Yard, Waterloo, on Monday, August 28th, 2023.
