The University of Sierra Leone has announced the opening of its online application portal for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Prospective students can now apply for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Fourah Bay College (FBC), the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), and the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS).
In addition to traditional courses, the university’s portal will also support applications for eLearning master’s programs in Business Administration, Journalism & Media Studies, Communication & Development Studies, and Public Relations & Marketing Communication.
“Prospective applicants can obtain application PINs from the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, Commerce and Mortgage Bank PLB (CMB), Rokel Commercial Bank, and Union Trust Bank in Freetown or any of their regional branches,” the university’s announcement stated.
The cost of the application PINs is Le NLe500.00 for undergraduate courses and Le NLe600.00 for postgraduate courses.
Applicants are encouraged to visit the University of Sierra Leone’s official website, www.usl.edu.sl, for detailed entry requirements for various programs, faculties, and departments.
The university also welcomes applications from those awaiting their WASSCE results.
The deadline for purchasing and submitting applications for undergraduate programs is Friday, August 30, 2024. “Applications for postgraduate programs remain open until further notice,” the announcement added.
Additionally, the university emphasized that its diploma and certificate courses are terminal programs.
“Applicants from diploma and certificate programs who wish to apply for degree programs must fulfill the university’s minimum entry requirements,” the statement concluded.
