Sierra Leone legend, Mohammed Kallon, has asserted that Nigerian football is more impressive than Sierra Leone football.
Kallon made this comment following his side 2-1 loss against Remo Stars in Coal City pre-season tournament in Enugu, Nigeria.
Hassan Milla open the scoring for FC Kallon, putting them in the lead. However, Remo Stars showed resilience and determination as they fought back to secure the comeback victory.
The former Inter Milan forward believed that the intensity showed by the Nigerian Premier League clubs have been impressive.
“Nigerian football is far more impressive than SL football, The intensity of their game is immense,” Kallon wrote on social media.
He added that, “With what I saw yesterday playing against a team that came second in the Nigerian top flight league and the worst part of it is that they are coming from their pre season preparations for their CAF competition.”
“I think we are on the right track with our fc kallon project in few years to be able to compete with great teams in Africa comfortably.”
FC Kallon is set to face Rangers International in the next match at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
