Freetown, Sierra Leone – The Ministry of Health (MoH) has officially launched a new online recruitment portal for the hiring of 3,000 health workers across various cadres. The application process, which runs from September 8 to 29, 2025, is entirely free of charge.
According to the Ministry, the digital platform is being introduced for the first time as part of efforts to strengthen the health workforce while ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability in recruitment.
Before the official launch, a test run of the portal was conducted to assess its effectiveness and address potential challenges.
The Ministry clarified that applications submitted during the trial phase will not be considered, and those applicants are required to reapply through the official portal: [www.recruitment.mohs.gov.sl](http://www.recruitment.mohs.gov.sl).
The MoH has further warned against paying anyone for the recruitment process, stressing that only applications submitted online will be reviewed and shortlisted for interviews.
For more information, the public can contact the Ministry via +232 78 564343 or email [communications@mohs.gov.sl](mailto:communications@mohs.gov.sl).
