State House, Freetown – 24 July 2025 – Sierra Leone’s President Brigadier General (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio has announced several high-level appointments, subject to parliamentary approval where necessary.
According to a public notice issued by State House, the following individuals have been nominated to key positions:
* Mr. Emmanuel Sahr Tondoneh as Ombudsman
* Mr. James E. Fofana as Secretary, Office of the Ombudsman
* Mr. Kanja Ibrahim Sesay as Secretary, National Assets and Government’s Property Commission
The announcement was officially signed by Yusuf Keketoma Sandi, Press Secretary to the President.
These appointments form part of ongoing efforts by the government to strengthen public institutions and enhance accountability across governance structures.
