Air Sierra Leone has announced the resumption of its operations, with scheduled flights between Freetown and Lagos set to commence on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
The airline made the announcement in a public notice issued on Monday, January 13, 2025, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to enhance regional connectivity.
The Freetown-Lagos flights will operate three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—providing much-needed travel options for passengers across West Africa.
Speaking on the development, Edgard D. Lacle, General Manager of Air Sierra Leone, emphasized the airline’s commitment to fostering regional ties and economic growth.
“The launch of our Freetown-Lagos route is a significant step forward in our mission to establish Air Sierra Leone as a bridge connecting Sierra Leone with the rest of Africa,” Lacle stated.
“This route symbolizes progress for both our airline industry and our country. It is a platform to promote trade, tourism, and cultural exchange in the region.
