The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced that its 2026 Ordinary Congress will take place on 27 June in Bo City.
According to a press release issued on Saturday, the congress will be held at the Wizard Hall and serves as the Association’s formal annual gathering of stakeholders. The notice, the SLFA said, complies with the provisions of Article 26 (1) and (2) of its 2019 statutes.
The association noted that its executive, led by President Babadi Kamara, has already commenced the necessary processes within the required timeframe, emphasizing its commitment to governance standards, regulatory compliance, and institutional accountability.
The Ordinary Congress is the highest decision-making body of the SLFA and will provide a platform for members to deliberate on key issues, including governance, policy decisions, and the overall strategic direction of football in Sierra Leone.
The football body also called on its members and stakeholders to cooperate and actively participate to ensure a successful and orderly congress.
