The newly elected National Executive of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) is representing the country at the African Political Parties Summit, taking place from 12 to 14 August 2025 in Accra, Ghana.
Leading the delegation is SLPP National Chairman Jimmy Batilo Songa, who is participating in the high-level continental gathering alongside political leaders from across Africa.
Held under the theme “From Politics to Prosperity: Strengthening Inter-Party Collaboration for Africa’s Development and Economic Transformation,” the summit seeks to promote growth, peace, and economic progress through stronger cooperation between political parties and nations.
The meeting offers a platform for exchanging ideas, sharing best practices, and building partnerships aimed at advancing good governance and sustainable development.
Key discussions will focus on how political institutions can better drive economic and social transformation across the continent.
