The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced that it will provide free buses to transport fans to Monrovia, Liberia, to support the Leone Stars in their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia.
The match is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the Samuel K. Doe Stadium.
This initiative, spearheaded by SLFA President Babadi Kamara, is designed to strengthen fan support and ensure the national team receives maximum backing on the international stage.
According to the SLFA, four buses will be made available, departing from Bo at 4:00 AM sharp on matchday. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and the buses will return to Sierra Leone immediately after the game.
Fans from the Southern and Eastern regions are advised to contact Yankuba Jaward or Solomon Demby, while those from the Western Area, Northeast, and Northwest regions can reach out to Mohamed Sesay or Ishmael Saidu Bangura to secure their seats.
The SLFA described the initiative as part of President Kamara’s commitment to bring fans closer to the team and foster unity in support of the Leone Stars.
“Let’s join forces in Monrovia, raise our voices, and push Leone Stars to victory — together, free of cost,” the Association stated in its notice.
