Freetown, Sierra Leone – The Ministry of Health has issued a strong reminder to the public that the ongoing recruitment of 3,000 health workers is entirely free of charge.
The Ministry cautioned that any individual or group requesting payment during the application process is engaging in fraudulent activity, which is punishable under Sierra Leonean law.
Authorities emphasized that applicants should only submit their applications through the official recruitment portal: [https://recruitment.mohs.gov.sl/](https://recruitment.mohs.gov.sl/), and warned against using third-party agents or unofficial channels.
The Ministry reassured the public that the online system was designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity for all qualified candidates.
This year’s large-scale recruitment drive aims to strengthen the country’s health workforce, addressing critical gaps in hospitals and health centers nationwide.
The Ministry urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to the recruitment exercise.
