Freetown, 24th October 2025 — Ramsy Medical Laboratory and EcoMeD Advanced Center have both submitted DNA evidence in the highly publicized paternity case involving Justice Stevens.
During proceedings presided over by Honourable Justice Musa, the court heard that the laboratory reports from both institutions confirmed a positive DNA match between Justice Stevens and the child in question, reportedly showing a 99.999% probability.
The case, which has drawn significant public and media attention, remains under judicial consideration.
The court has not yet issued a final ruling, and the public has been urged to refrain from making premature conclusions until the judgment is officially delivered.
Those present during the session included the plaintiff, Edwina Jamiru, relatives of the defendant, members of the press, and representatives from key institutions such as the Institute for Legal Research and Advocacy for Justice (ILRAJ), Human Rights Commission, Ministry of Gender and Children’s Affairs, the Office of the Master and Registrar of the High Court, AdvocAid, and L.A.W.Y.E.R.S.
