Freetown, Sierra Leone — The Mighty Blackpool Football Club and the wider football community gathered today to lay to rest Bureh Ganso Koroma, whose passing has left teammates, supporters, and loved ones deeply heartbroken.
Mourners filled the burial grounds to honour the former Blackpool midfielder, remembered not only for his time on the pitch but also for his calm spirit and dedication to the sport. As the casket was lowered, heartfelt prayers were offered for his peaceful rest, and for comfort for his grieving family.
Bureh Ganso Koroma will be remembered with respect, affection, and deep appreciation for his contributions to the club and the game he loved.
