The Calaba Town Police Station has recorded another breakthrough in its ongoing crackdown on drug-related offences, arresting three suspects during a targeted operation on Sunday, 2nd November 2025.
According to police reports, the raid was carried out around 12:45 p.m. at Limba Corner following credible intelligence. Two suspects, identified as Suliaman Jalloh and Ali Mohamed Joseph Mansaray, were apprehended for unlawful possession of 300 tablets of Tramadol — a controlled substance frequently abused in local communities.
A third suspect, Michael Conteh, was also detained for allegedly obstructing officers in the lawful execution of their duties during the operation.
Authorities confirmed that the suspects, along with the confiscated drugs, have been handed over to the Kissy Police Division for further investigation.
The Calaba Town Police Station reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining public safety and supporting the nationwide campaign against narcotic drug abuse, which continues to threaten the wellbeing of young people across Sierra Leone.
