Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President, 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚, today Sunday, October 5th, held a high-level one-on-one meeting with FIFA President 𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨 in Kinshasa, on the sidelines of the 𝟒𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐀𝐅 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 scheduled for Monday, October 6th, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
During the meeting, President Kamara expressed deep appreciation to President Infantino for his remarkable global leadership, which continues to transform football and inspire renewed hope for the game in Sierra Leone.
He outlined the key priorities of his administration, which include 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐈𝐅𝐀 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐒𝐋𝐅𝐀 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐈𝐅𝐀 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭—𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢-𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬.
President Kamara also highlighted ongoing collaboration with the Government of Sierra Leone on the “𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬” initiative, aligned with𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐨’𝐬 earlier commitment to FIFA during his meeting with Infantino in New York.
He further emphasized his administration’s vision to establish a new football ecosystem grounded in integrity, transparency, and good governance.
In response, FIFA President Gianni Infantino reaffirmed FIFA’s full support to President Kamara and his Executive, commending his personal dedication to football development.

Also in attendance were FIFA General Secretary 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐬𝐭𝐫ö𝐦, FIFA Deputy Chief Member Association Officer 𝐆𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐬, SLFA Vice President 1 Ali Badara Tarawallie, and SLFA Acting General Secretary Mohamed Benson Bawoh.
The meeting marks another significant step in strengthening Sierra Leone’s football partnership with FIFA and advancing the nation’s football development agenda.
