The Minister of Youth Affairs has proudly represented Sierra Leone on the international stage, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korea Africa Foundation (KAF) in Seoul, South Korea.
This milestone agreement sets the tone for a stronger collaboration between Sierra Leone and South Korea in empowering young people through education, skills development, technology, and cultural exchange.
During the signing ceremony, the Minister emphasized the importance of creating global linkages that provide opportunities for Sierra Leonean youth to compete and thrive in a fast-changing world.
The MoU will open new doors in areas such as innovation, entrepreneurship, digital training, and youth leadership.
Adding a touch of culture and pride, the Minister presented a Sierra Leone scarf to the KAF President, a symbolic gesture showcasing Sierra Leone’s national identity and cementing bonds of friendship between the two nations.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister stated: “This partnership is a powerful reminder that the dreams of Sierra Leonean youth are not limited by borders. We are building bridges of knowledge, culture, and innovation that will ensure our young people are not just participants, but leaders in the global economy.”
The partnership with KAF is not just about international recognition; it’s about ensuring that the voices, talents, and ambitions of Sierra Leonean youth are part of a global conversation.
With this MoU, the Ministry is unlocking opportunities that will directly benefit the next generation of leaders, creatives, and innovators.
