The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has appointed a full technical and administrative team to lead the National U-20 Men’s side as it prepares for the WAFU Zone A U-20 Men’s Championship in Mali in October 2026.
According to an official press release issued by the SLFA on Wednesday, the appointments were approved by the association’s Executive Committee. The tournament will serve as the qualifying competition for the TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be hosted in Ghana in 2027.
The appointed officials are:
1. Abdul Ahmed Bangura – Team Manager
2. Mohamed Lamin Kamara – Head Coach
3. John Dominic Konneh– Assistant Coach I
4. Abdul Rahman Turay– Assistant Coach II
5. Alie Jaward – Goalkeeper Coach
6. Kabinèh Kamara – Fitness Coach
7. Victor Cole – Welfare Officer
8. Pa Alie Sesay – Media Officer
9. Arnold Denis Jackson – Masseur
10. Alicious Kamara – Team Medic
11. Mohamed Speaking Kamara – Team Administrator
In the statement, the SLFA congratulated the newly appointed officials and expressed confidence in their collective ability to prepare the team adequately for the championship.
