In an official notice from the Office of the Deputy Registrar at Fourah Bay College, the University of Sierra Leone has declared the dates for the eagerly awaited 2022/2023 University Congregation.
Scheduled to take place from the 19th to the 21st of December 2023, this significant event marks a pivotal moment for graduating students, faculty, and staff.
All graduating students, as well as academic and administrative personnel, are urged to promptly fulfill their respective obligations. It is imperative that final results be submitted to the University Registry for publication and inclusion in the official Congregation programme.
The College has already initiated the submission process for results of graduating students who have met all requirements. However, there are individuals with outstanding payments of backlog fees and/or unfulfilled academic prerequisites. Unless these obligations are met, and the verification process completed by Wednesday, 22nd November 2023, the conferment of degrees for such students will be deferred to the following year.
This deadline also extends to faculties and departments yet to submit outstanding dissertation grades.
The University expresses gratitude for understanding and anticipates the cooperation of all parties involved in making the 2023 Congregation a success.
