In a recent turn of events, renowned Sierra Leonean forward Musa Noah Kamara, popularly known as Musa Tombo, has vehemently denied rumors circulating about his purported transfer to the Sierra Leone Premier League club, Luawa FC.
Earlier today, Luawa FC had officially announced their acquisition of the talented striker from Libyan side Club Al-Ittihad, sealing the deal on a permanent basis in anticipation of the upcoming season.
Club CEO Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai expressed his excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Musa into our family, and we eagerly await the opportunity to work together.”
Contrary to Luawa FC’s announcement, Musa Kamara took to social media through a video message to set the record straight, categorically denying any involvement in the Luawa FC transfer.
“I want to clarify the rumors circulating on social media that link me to Luawa FC. These claims are unequivocally false,” Kamara declared firmly.
This saga marks the return of the embattled striker, formerly associated with Sierra Leone Premier League champions Bo Rangers, to the SLPL after a tumultuous stint in Libya.
Kamara’s initial move to Libya took a turbulent turn when he refused to play for Club Al-Ittihad, despite having signed a contract with them, citing security concerns.
