Authorities at the Regional Police Headquarters South’s Transnational Organized Crime Unit (TOCU) are actively investigating Daniel Tucker, a well-known Bo City resident and self-proclaimed consumer rights advocate, and Police Constable Thomas Bocon Fabundeh, identified by badge number 22146 and stationed at the Bo West Division’s Operation Support Division (OSD).
The pair were apprehended on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Moyamba Junction. They were reportedly in possession of 198 wraps, 2 sachets, and a substantial amount of a substance believed to be Kush, all found within Tucker’s vehicle.
This discovery led to the immediate detention of both individuals.
Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Kanneh has reiterated his commitment to enhancing safety and security across the southern region, emphasizing the need for community cooperation with the ongoing police investigations.
He pointed out that the arrest of Tucker, a prominent figure, underscores his stringent stance against the consumption and smuggling of Kush, declaring a zero-tolerance policy under his command.
Both Tucker and Constable Fabundeh remain in custody, with further legal proceedings anticipated as the investigation progresses.
