The Steering Committee of #SheStands2023 has taken decisive action by launching a formal investigation into the recent Netpage Passport controversy in Sierra Leone.
This move comes in the wake of a unanimous resolution passed last week by the Committee, which comprises NGC, representing approximately 90% of female politicians across Sierra Leone.
Concerns have arisen regarding potential passport fraud and financial irregularities related to the issuance and sale of the national passport, prompting the committee to authorize a comprehensive investigation.
The investigation will be conducted on both domestic and international fronts, with committee members residing within Sierra Leone and abroad actively participating. The team will analyze gathered intelligence and seek additional information to bolster their inquiry.
