In a shocking turn of events, following the reported robbery targeting Samuel Wise Bangura of AYV, a distressing video has emerged.
The footage reveals Samuel Wise Bangura alongside a camera operator identified as Lawrence, also known as J Light, engaging in the production of various currencies within a secluded space.
According to an official report released on his platform, Samuel Wise Bangura experienced a loss of $7000 along with an equivalent of Le 29 million in cash during the recent incident.
Providing insights into the perplexing situation, Ahmed Sahid Nasralla, President of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ), took to social media to share an update. He conveyed that he had spoken with Samuel Wise Bangura, who disclosed that the circulating video was, in fact, a component of an ongoing investigation into his involvement in money-doubling schemes spanning the past two months. Additionally, the investigation implicated his collaborator, J-Light, as shown in the video.
Amidst the unfolding controversy, Nasralla urged Samuel Wise Bangura to promptly release an official statement to reassure his audience and the general public about the circumstances surrounding this startling revelation.
“I spoke to Samuel moments ago. He says the video of him doing rounds on social media currently was part of an investigation into money doubling scams he has been conducting for d past 2 months…with his cameraman J-Light (also shown in d video). I have asked him to put out a statement immediately to assure his audience and the public in general,” Ahmed Sahid Nasralla, the President of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalist (SLAJ) posted on social media,” SLAJ President posted.
