In a recent announcement made on Facebook, the Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) confirmed the appointment of the newly constituted Anti-Corruption Advisory Board by President Brigadier (Rtd.) Dr. Julius Maada Bio.
This strategic move is in accordance with the provisions outlined in the Anti-Corruption Act of 2008.
Commissioner Ben Kaifala conveyed that the appointments demonstrate a strong commitment to upholding the Anti-Corruption Act’s stipulations.
The distinguished individuals selected to join the ACC Advisory Board come from various fields and sectors, showcasing a diverse range of expertise. The members of the board include Mr. Prince Goba, who will serve as Chairman, along with Mr. Joshua Nicol, Alhaji Oshoba Aberdeen, Mr. Kebe Kourouba, Hon. Josephine Makieu, Mr. Chernor Jalloh, and Mr. Edwin Foray Gondor.
In their inaugural meeting, Commissioner Kaifala extended his congratulations and warm welcome to the appointed members.
He emphasized the collective effort required to intensify the fight against corruption with renewed determination and direction.
